When the owners of Lili.Co opened their restaurant on De Bienville Street, they didn’t expect to relocate their operations two years later. This local restaurant soon became the meeting point of an ever-growing – and crowded – clientele.

Hence, larger premises were being sought in the neighbourhood and most of all, once this new location found, it had to be urgently installed. This challenge was achieved in just a few months. Space and client-friendliness are the highlights of this low-budget project, which was executed along with several collaborators such as Johan Högdahl (Branding) and Martin Lachapelle (Graphic illustration). The long counter with stools is a subtle suggestion of the diners of the Fifties where clients gather near the Chef to watch him perform his sizzling magic on the grill.
